Blogging and Education

I can tell this techy journey is going to be so much fun!  Thank you Cindy for providing this learning opportunity!  In reading the articles assigned to us this past week I found myself drawn to the creative and reflective aspect of blogging.  I enjoy finding new ways to creatively express who I am and in turn want to share those opportuties with my students.  I see the opportunity for growth in being able to reflect along with my students on whatever topics we will be choosing to write about.  Lots of learning and growing in a fun way!  I am looking to encourage and inspire the students I teach to find a way to express their thoughts through writing.  They have something to say!  Too often in the area of special education my students have struggled so much as readers and writers they see it as a laborous activity  and no fun.  I want to change that by getting  them writing, all while providing them real life skills, and engaging them in good conversation!
